There was no one in the stands to appreciate Ishant Sharma's 300th Test wicket, considered the Mount Everest for Indian pacers who ply their trade, day in and day out, on pitches that have nothing to offer for fast bowling. But it was kind of fitting that only his peers were there to applaud, for only they know the value of the workload that this lanky Delhi pacer has undertaken.
