Though England are ranked fourth in the current ICC rankings for Test teams, two places below India, Joe Root and his side have shown that they are up for the challenge in Indian conditions. England were the last team that beat India in India in a Test series (2012-13) and have now taken a 1-0 lead. Virat Kohli admitted that England were more professional and consistent than India.
