IND Vs ENG: On the fifth day of the Chennai Test match, James Anderson played a key role in bringing the Indian innings to the backfoot with a fatal bowling. The way Anderson hit Shubman Gill and Rahane (Ajinkya Rahane) boldly with a reverse swing ball was certainly surprising. On the Chepauk pitch, there was no expectation that the Indian batsmen would show up like a pack of cards on the last day. Anderson first bowled Gill on his best ball, while Rahane's defense was bowled in the same over. Rahane was bowled without scoring, while Gill was dismissed after scoring 50 runs. After dismissing these two batsmen in the same over, Anderson forced Rishabh Pant to be knocked out by Joe Root for the Indian innings.

After dismissing both batsmen, James Anderson also sent Rishabh Pant and sent him to the pavilion. Anderson's accolades are being praised on social media. VVS Laxman also tweeted and spoke about Anderson's bowling and described him as an all-time great bowler.
