Loud boos could be heard from the stands when the England cricketers - particularly skipper Joe Root and pacer Stuart Broad - argued with field umpire Anil Chaudhary, who gave a soft signal for a catch that Ben Stokes had picked in the slips off Shubhman Gill's bat. The TV umpire, however, turned down the dismissal after replays showed that the ball had touched the ground.
